Over two thousand years ago Pythagoras taught that all matter was made up of three elements, viz., a primor dial substance, motion, and number. It is interesting to note how up-to-date modern science verifies the teachings of this ancient Greek philosopher. In the language of modern science the primordial substance of Pythagoras is the all-pervading ether, motion is electricity, and numbers are the number of electrons vibrating in the atom.
